Located in South America close to the Equator, biogeographical and landscape aspects have made the country one of the richest and most diverse for bird species and other types of wildlife and plants. Being 4 times the size of Ecuador and 22 times the size of Costa Rica, its fantastic diversity is what makes us visit this country! Colombia is known for its excellent coffee and soccer team, but it offers so much more! It is a very safe place to travel nowadays.
